Floral and botanical absolutes: the delicate soul of perfumery

Absolutes are highly concentrated aromatic extracts obtained from flowers, roots, and resins that cannot be distilled without losing their fragrance. This process allows for capturing the most subtle essence of extremely delicate plants, such as jasmine, tuberose, or mimosa.

Unlike essential oils, which are obtained by distillation, absolutes require a slower, more careful and technical process, in which the temperature must be kept low to avoid degrading the volatile compounds.
